Topics
The contest is not limited to specific disciplines as long as the prototype is enabled by nanotechnology. All prototype videos provided by the organizers are only for your references. You may integrate any of the prototypes into a more sophisticated system or application with potential commercial value, which is the spirit of prototype on prototype (POP).

* Individual or one member of each final contestant team will be invited to Taiwan, provided with round-trip flight ticket (economy class) and lodging expenses covered to finish the prototype for the award competition.
Competition Jury
The competition jury will consist of experts recommended by the organizers and co-organizers. The winners will include the top 3 prizes and the honorable mentions. To ensure impartiality to all contestants, the competing prototypes will be differentiated only by codes.

Prototype Ownership
- The ownership of the prototype belongs to the corresponding contestants; the organizers neither own the right, nor bear the responsibilities for any legal dispute regarding the prototype.
- The organizers strongly recommend the contestants to consult legal entities or apply for patent, trade mark or related legal rights to protect their own prototype before entering the competition.
- If any dispute arises because contestants did not have prior legal protection and the prototype becomes an item of public domain, the contestants should seek for legal procedure by their own to protect their rights and interests.
- If the contestants infringe the IP of others or engage in illegal behavior, they are solely responsible for their acts, and cannot dispute with the organizers about any necessary procedures enacted by the organizers to protect the reputation of the event and the organizers.
- The organizers will enact all necessary procedures to keep the confidentiality of the prototypes for the competition; nonetheless, the organizers do not bear any responsibility for any risk of the prototype being exposed.
